Why is Flax seed oil special?
The nutritional value of the specially fermented and germinated Flax seed is increased by the fact that some substances that inhibit digestion (e.g. the polysaccharide-based pectin protective coating, other cyanides, etc.) are broken down and the large macromolecules (e.g. fatty acids) are broken down into smaller parts. Some of the nutrients are thus transformed into a form that is easier for the body to absorb, so they are better utilized and their use requires less energy. In addition, useful substances are synthesized, such as enzymes, vitamins, and proteins.
It is extremely rich in essential fatty acids, such as Alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), which is an Omega-3 type of fatty acid that is vital for our body, and has an exceptionally high content of vitamin E, which ensures a much longer shelf life, does not go rancid, does not need to be refrigerated.
Why should you choose Flax seed oil?
Due to its extremely high Omega-3 content (52 m/m %):
- promotes the formation of ideal cholesterol levels
- supports the immune system
- helps the nervous system function
- excellent maintenance of the heart and vascular system
- helps the oxygen transport of the blood
- regulates the hormonal system
Thanks to its vitamin E content, it prevents the formation of free radicals and binds the existing oxidative free radicals, which in the meantime slows down the aging process
As a result of the special germination of the Flax seed, at least 15-25% of the oil is converted into diglycerides (DAG) .
Diglycerides actively help the absorption of oil and the utilization of its energy content, but diglycerides are not incorporated into fatty tissues, but are used as energy in the body, so those who want to lose weight can safely consume them.
